The First Look Fair is one of the longest running involvement traditions at the University of Maryland. The event is host to more than 500 student clubs and organizations, campus departments and services, local vendors, and community service agencies.

Many SPS members consider attending graduate school in Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields; however, selecting a graduate program and going through the application process is anything but easy.

SPS hopes to not only serve our physics students, but our community as a whole. Last year, we organized two blood drives in the Physics Department, one on Monday, September 28th 2015 for the Fall semester, and one on Monday, March 7th 2016 for the Spring semester.
